Home Plate
You are standing at the site of home plate in the old Met Stadium. The
Minnesota Twins made the Met their home from 1961 to 1981 following
their move from Washington D.C. The Met saw its share of baseball history,
including the night when Harmon Killebrew became the 10th major leaguer
in history to hit 500 home runs. It was also Killebrew who blasted the
longest home run ever hit at Metropolitan Stadium. If you look across
The Park, above Paul Bunyan's Log Chute, you will see a red chair marking
the place Killebrew's ball landed.

Stadium visit our Stadium Club Sports Grill located in The Park's northeast
corner above the PlayZone Arcade.
